Frequently Asked Questions
Our standard vehicle was chosen for safety, reliability, and comfort: modern Toyota LandCruisers which can comfortably take 4 people on any of our Moroccan tours. More vehicles can be added if you are traveling in a party of more than 4 people. We also have small buses that can take up to 17 people. These are more likely to be used from one city to another, not for the desert experience
Depending on the tour you have chosen, you may also wish to take the opportunity to ride camels or quad bikes.
Almost everything about your tour is flexible to your wishes and requirements, excluding the vehicles themselves chosen for safety and comfort.
Just get in touch if you wish to alter the itinerary of any of our desert tour and Morocco tours, such as levels and types of accommodation, food, and tour routes (within reason) and if there are any places or events you particularly want to be added to your bespoke tour.
It would be our pleasure to enhance your experience wherever possible to meet your expectations.
With Next Stop Morocco you get a large modern 4×4 to explore our beautiful country, complete with a friendly, knowledgeable, and streetwise driver to assist you in your adventure. If safety and security are a primary concern for you and your companions then we can make an extra effort to help you negate any concerns you may have.
Generally, Morocco is a safe country for tourists provided that you stick to the local laws and apply common sense to your situation.
Morocco offers a rich selection of tour destinations, all of which are covered by the team at Next Stop Morocco. Everyone’s opinion on the best places to visit in Morocco will naturally differ from person to person, but we find that…
The most popular cities tend to be Marrakech, Essaouira, Tangier, Chefchaoune and Fes.
The most popular Mountain destinations tend to be Ansi and Imlil.
The most popular desert locations tend to be Ouarzazate, Erg Chebbi dunes, Erg Chegaga dunes and Ait Ben Haddou
They can safely accommodate 4 people not including the driver, although we recommend 3 to leave a little extra room.
We also take care to use camel ride providers who have a proven track record of looking after their animals in the best possible way.
That being said, there are some desert conditions that may mean we have to cut the camel riding portion short or cancel it all together for the safety of both you and the animals, but these situations are quite rare.
We take feedback from previous guests very seriously, meaning that we have narrowed down our accommodation selection to ensure that we only recommend the best experiences suited to our guest’s budget.
