Morocco is an exciting and intoxicating destination for families to vacation with children of all ages. The sights and sounds of Morocco are a great introduction to Africa and a world far removed from ours and yet so close to Europe. Whether you are visiting the cities, mountains, desert or coast you will see a different way of life, almost medieval to us, which will open the eyes of both adults and children to another way of living. This is a real education – children will be fascinated by everything they see from the way the people dress to the donkey carts on the main road, the 5 times daily call to prayer, camels to the manic activity in the souks. We don’t have any one specific tour designed for family trips. Our approach to a request from a family is to ask for the ages of the children and listen to the specific requirements of your family. After listening to your wishes we will then propose the most efficiently logistical programme to make the best of your time in Morocco. As those of us with children know full well, the success of the trip will be to keep the younger ones happy and occupied. Whilst staying in a riad deep in the medina might be perfect for two adults, it might or might now work for a family. We can therefore propose properties that have swimming pools or are outside the medina. Exotic Marrakech is included on most family’s itineraries. It’s arguably the most child friendly city in Morocco. From Marrakech, depending on time available, you can add the coast, Fez, or the desert to your trip.
